NEW COMMUNITY SERIES: WELLINGTON COMMUNITIES COMING UP

Investment interest in building new communities in Wellington is alive and well.



Freehold Communities has begun construction on the new master-planned 2000-home Wellington Community named Arden.  Located off Southern Boulevard in Palm Beach County, Arden will include will include 

  • 19 miles of trails, a five-acre farm and garden, and a 200-acre lake
  • Completion date is estimated later this year
  • The 10,000 sq ft 2-story clubhouse will have a resort-style pool, outdoor patio, private exercise studio and fitness center, private cabanas, private event space and a coffee and tea bar
  • All 2000 homes will back up to a park, greenway or nature trail.  Freehold has an office in West Palm Beach.  The builders have not yet been announced.


The Solara at Wellington, a condominium complex, will have 
  • one- to three bedroom configurations
  • Just sold, directly north of the Palm Beach Polo & Country Club, the value of apartments is $181,250 per unit
  • Rents will start at $1,274 per month
  • Amenities include a community pool, cyber cafe, fitness center, tennis court, clubhouse, children’s playground and newly built barbecue area.



For the environmentally concerned, the new Quaye at Wellington is 
  • a green-oriented apartment community that will be 100% smoke free and will feature smart technologies and keyless entry
  • It will be built on 31 acres in the 1000 block of State Road 7 in Wellington, to be completed by October 2016
  • Three hundred fifty luxury apartments will built to the environmental standards established by the National Green Building Standard
  • It will be a Gold Level community
  • There will be 33 three-story, garden-style buildings with 104 one-bedroom apartments, 149 two-bedroom townhomes, 75 three-bedroom townhomes and 22 four-bedroom townhomes
  • The community also will feature a clubhouse and resort style pool
  • The community is committed to environmental sustainability through the implementation of the National Green Building Standard ICC 700 Gold Level



Another Quaye is going up in Palm Beach Gardens with 
  • 341 rental homes
  • To be complete in April 2016
  • Construction has begun
  • There will be one-bedroom modern garden apartments and two- to four- bedroom town homes.
